Paris Saint-Germain is willing to let their Brazilian forward Neymar leave this summer if they receive a suitable offer. The Brazilian star player is still the most expensive player of all time after joining PSG for £198m in 2017 from Spanish La Liga side Barcelona but his status at the club is said to be on the wane. His relationship with teammate Kylian Mbappe, who has just signed a £650,000-a-week, three-year deal, has deteriorated to the point the club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is fine meeting him leave the club.

When Neymar joined Patis St-Germain from Barcelona, he was one of the biggest names in the sport and Al-Khelaifi said he had ‘the best player in the world’ at the club. That may still be true, but the Brazilian has since been surpassed by Kylian Mbappe, who has outscored him for the last four seasons and the 22-year-old’s bumper new deal cements his position as number one at Parc des Princes.

Neymar’s current deal with the French Ligue 1 side was supposed to be in 2025 but the club is willing to sell the player if a suitable offer is presented for the player. The Brazilian has had a very difficult season in the Ligue 1 with injuries having the better their art of stay in the club. The likes of Newcastle United and Barcelona are looking to sign the player but Barca’s president debunked the news of them trying to resign the player even though he still wants to return to the Spanish side.
