English Premier League new heavyweight Newcastle United have indicated an interest in Nigerian international Umar Sadiq, who is currently with Spanish La Liga decision two sides. According to a report on Spanish online news hub, Fichajes, the Magpies are looking to bolster their attack, and the lanky striker is reportedly on their radar.

Umar Saiq, who plays for Almeria, is valued at €25m, the same price they sold former striker Darwin Nunez to Benfica in 2020.b The former AS Roma striker is also wanted by English Premier League defending champions Manchester City, but Newcastle United is the latest club coming for the player.
The 24-year-old has scored seven goals and recorded six assists in 15 league games for Almeria this season. His impressive form has attracted the Premier League side. Sadiq has played for top clubs before moving to Almeria. He played for Serbian outfit Partizan Belgrade last summer, which is where he moved from to join the Spanish La Liga Division two side.
