Mourinho Finally Reacts to VAR’s Decision on Goal

Following the controversy in the English Premier League matchday, 27 between Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham, Spurs manager Jose Mourinho has come out to speak on the controversy in the game.

The manager refused to offer a definite comment on the Video Assistant Referee VAR decision that saw Josh Maja’s goal disallowed. The game would have ended 1-1, but VAR disallowed the Nigerian goal.

According to Jose Mourinho, he said his view is not important. He also said he does not make decisions and so he cannot say anything about it. In conclusion, he said it would only be wise to respect the views of the officials. Sometimes goals for, sometimes goals against. His view is not important, he said.

Tosin Adarabioyo directed Dele Alli’s ball into his net in the first 20 minutes of the game. Fulham made most of the chance with Letus-check firing wide. The goal finally came for the home team but was disallowed after the VAR check.
