Three European Clubs Battle for Victor Osimhen
Serie A giants AC Milan have joined the race to sign Nigerian Lille forward Victor Osimhen, Leicester City of the English Premier League has also joined the chase, the player is likely to leave the French Ligue One side in this summer transfer window. Napoli is, however, the favourites to sign the Nigerian forward according to football italia.net.
Victor Osimhen has been linked with a move to European top clubs after an impressive debut campaign in the French Ligue One. The 21-year-old scored 18 goals and provided six assists in 38 appearances in all competitions with the club and he also won the African player of the year in the French League.
Victor Osimhen was at Italy recently and he used the opportunity to visit Napoli, he met with the Napoli coach Gennaro Gattuso and president Aurelio De Laurentiis. The Nigerian has not yet commented his career to any club yet as more and more clubs keep coming for him. The former VFL Wolfsburg of Germany striker has till the end of this week to make a decision on his future.
