Kylian Mbappe Fit for RB Leipzig Semi-final Clash
France and Paris St.German forward Kylian Mbappe is fit and is likely to start for his side against German side RB Leipzig in Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final in Lisbon, says coach Thomas Tuchel.
The French striker has been struggling with an ankle injury in recent weeks after he was injured in their French final which they won, he came off the bench to Inspire his team win Atalanta in their quarter-final clash which ended 2-1. According to the coach Thomas Tuchel, he said: “He played for 30 minutes against Atalanta and had no reaction and had six days since to work on fitness, so of course he can start.” “We will decide after training whether he can play 90 minutes.”
21-year-old Kylian Mbappe came on last against Atalanta with his team trailing 1-0 to the Italian side but inspired PSG to a late victory, setting up the winner for Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting in injury time after Marquinhos had levelled in the 90th minute.
He has so far this season scored 30 goals in 35 appearances in all competitions including five in eight in the Champions League, he has been very effective in the team so it will do them well to start the player.
