Former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says he is unsure if he will return to England. The Argentine plainly said he does not know if his next job will be in England. He insists he will not rush into another role though.
48-year-old Pochettino has been without a club since he left Spurs almost a year now. The Argentine has been linked with several clubs since he left the North London side. Manchester United, Arsenal and Real Madrid are the major clubs who came for him.
According to him, he said: “I need to wait for the right project. I will not close any door.” Mauricio Pochettino who managed Espanyol and also Southampton was sacked by Tottenham after five years in charge.” “I always feel ready to be involved in the game. It is my passion not my job.”
“My energy is full and I love to be involved in the game. But at the same time, I need to understand that it is a good moment to wait. “I learned when I was really young that football will dictate your way. I am waiting to feel which is the right project to take.”
It has been a year now but the Argentine says he not bothered. He said: “I don’t feel like it is one year that I have not been working.” “Because of the last seven or eight months without the fans in the stadium, it does not feel like football.” “We are watching a similar game but there is not the passion or emotion there. It is so strange and a difficult time for everyone.”
