Manchester United veteran Serbian midfielder Nemanja Matic has backed Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick. The manager has come in for criticism with United showing few signs of improvement since he took over from sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November, but Matic defended his boss and team-mates.

Matic said: “He [Rangnick] is trying his best and we are trying to follow his ideas.” The 33-year-old also said: “Only at the end of the season, when we see the table and see where we are, then we can speak more about this.” He said at the moment, what he can say is that Ralf and his staff, and his teammates are doing their best.
The Serbian International believes Manchester United can still make a top-four finish despite the fact that both Arsenal and Tottenham who are also fighting for th same position are above them and they also have outstanding games to play. Magic is confident Ralf Rangnick has good intention towards the club.
