Arsenal target Martin Odegaard has come out to say he will not join the English Premier League side. He said he would prefer a move to Real Sociedad than Arsenal if he leaves Real Madrid.
Martin Odegaard Prefers Real Sociedad to Arsenal
Arsenal has been biding to sign the player on a season-long loan in the January transfer window. Still, sadly Martin Odegaard says he will instead remain in the Spanish La Liga. The player has been a significant target for the Gunnars team with Mesut Ozil set to join Fenerbahce.
Martin Odegaard has fallen out of favour at the Bernabeu as he is struggling with playing time. According to a Spanish media report, it says: “He wants to go to Real Sociedad, and they want him.” “They’re waiting on Real Madrid’s decision.”
It was also gathered that Arsenal is not the only club looking for the player, Real Sociedad has been inquiring about the player and t seems he prefers the La Liga side more than the English Premier League.
“Since December 1, he’s played only five minutes. He played against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on that date then he got an injury and was out for three games.
But he has barely featured since. Odegaard has only managed to play five minutes since December 1 2020, which shows Real Madrid has no plans for the player and even if they have it is not now.
