Manchester United and England forward Marcus Rashford has been listed in the in Time magazine’s Next 100 list. He was given the award of one who is helping and shaping the future. This was in recognition of his campaigning work on child poverty.
The list comprises people in all field of life ranging from entertainment, politics, and athletics. Marcus Rashford was listed among other prominent people, and he listed under the category of advocates.
Lewis Hamilton Writes on Marcus Rashford
Lewis Hamilton, a Seven-time Formula 1 world champion, was picked by American weekly magazine to write the entry on Rashford. In writing, he wrote: “By standing up for the most vulnerable in our society and using his platform and influence to create positive change, Marcus inspired countless others to join him on this mission and cemented his status as a role model.”

The write up also says: “In a year that showed us the power of working together toward a common goal, he was a galvanizing force behind uniting people across the UK in the effort to ensure no child goes hungry.”
The write-up ended by saying: “His determination, resilience and persistence have been truly inspiring. I cannot wait to see how he continues this important work.”
Marcus Rashford was made an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for his efforts in fighting child food poverty in England. He was also given a special award at BBC Sports night, and he won the Personality of the Year award.
