English Premier League top side Manchester United is set to agree on a lucrative first professional deal with 17-year old Nigerian prospect Shola Shoretire. United is not the only club interested in this player; clubs across Europe have also shown interest in the player.
Shola Shoretire Set to Join Manchester United
The likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus have all indicated interest in the player.
Shola Shoretire is regarded as one of the best-attacking midfielders in Europe than other players of his age. Shola Shoretire turned 17 on Tuesday, and he has been playing for Manchester United’s U23s team for some time now.
He trained with the first team and is widely speculated by the club’s head coaches that the player will break into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad.
Shola Shoretire wanted to leave the club, but after speaking to big players like Michael Owen, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood, he was convinced to build his career with United.
Shola Shoretire was born in Nigeria, but he grew up in England, Newcastle precisely. He said Barcelona and AC Milan legend Ronaldinho is his idol. He plays off the left-wing but is comfortable on the right or behind the striker.
