Angel Gomes of Manchester United Player Visits Nigerian Pastor
in 2016 Manchester United teenage striker Angel Gomes visited the Synagogue Church for All Nations and the video has gone viral. The Manchester United star has come out to explain why he travelled to Nigeria with his parents to see TB Joshua when he was just 16 years old.
Gomes took to his social media handle and explained how his parents resulted in bringing him into Nigeria to solve his physical and spiritual problems which he believes is according to his faith. According to the Manchester United Star he said: “Regarding the video that has come out from 2016. I am from a Christian family at the time my mum was a fan of the pastor, and she really wanted me to go. “
“I was going through some issues. From the outside looking in, it looks crazy, but I was just practising my faith. ” “I didn’t really need to explain myself but a lot of people was asking me what the video was about. I was young at the time and if my parents thought something was best for Me I would do it. There are far more important issues out there in the world we can tackle,” Gomes wrote on his Twitter handle.
The Manchester United star player claims he went to see the man of God to solve his injury problems. Mario Gomes was the youngest player in Manchester United to feature for the senior squad and also the first star born in the 2000s to play in the Premier League. The player is now 19 and he has made five appearances under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and has scored four goals before the three-month break.
