Former Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique who Manchester United has been asking to take over the management role off the club has said he is not interested in the job. He said he has no interest in speaking to Manchester United about the managerial position at Old Trafford.

The information was made known by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano. It was gathered that Cristiano Ronaldo was suggested for the man to be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s long-term replacement at Man United. However, when questioned on the rumoured interest, Luis Enrique said that he was not running for the position with the 20-time English champions.

Fabrizio Romano also said the former Barcelona head coach would not be involved in any conversations with Manchester United over the role at Old Trafford. He claims that Enrique is currently preparing for Spain for the 2022 World Cup and will not change his mind even if the Premier League outfit approaches him.
Luis Enrique won two La Liga titles, three Copa del Rey crowns and the Champions League in charge of Barcelona between 2014 and 2017.
