Cooking Direction
Put water in a pot on a medium heat. When the water starts to boil, keep forming the paste into small balls and throwing them into the boiling water. Allow the small balls to boil for about 10 minutes until you see the balls rising to the top.
The next thing to do is to strain all the water and rinse with cold water then turn into a plate. Sprinkle some already fried vegetable oil and beef sauce on the boiled paste. Also mix it with dry cayenne pepper and suya spices.
Dan Wake is tasteless without the spices, so it is the spices and sauces that give it it’s sweetening taste. You can then boil your egg to be served with Dan Wake. Vegetable salad (cucumber, onion, cabbage, tomatoes) are also included in the delicacy. Enjoy your Dan Wake using a fork or a toothpick. Bon appetite!
