Leroy Sane Eyes City Exit
Manchester City boss and Spanish International Pep Guardiola have confirmed that German winger Leroy Sane wants to leave Manchester City. Pep Guardiola made this known in the most recent sports conference held early this afternoon, the City boss said Machester City have been trying to persuade the 24-year-old Germany winger to sign a new contract with the club but he is not willing to do so.
Leroy Sane’s contract will be due by the end of next season’s league 2021, he has refused a contract extension, which expires in 2021. He has not played for the club since suffering cruciate ligament damage during the Community Shield back in August last year. The player only came back to game properly in their first game after lock-down which ended in their favour.
Pep Guardiola said: “He wants to join another club.” “I don’t know if he will leave this summer or next summer when his contract expires.”The player has been linked with a move back to the German Bundesliga, he is likely to join German champions Bayern Munich. His move could be further kindled with Manchester City’s Champions League ban should they lose the case in court. He is not the only player who could the club but Guardiola is very sure of him not signing a new contract with Manchester City.
