Leicester City and Arsenal Fight for three Points in Carabao Cup
King Power Stadium will host Wednesday’s EFL Cup game between Leicester City and Arsenal. The Foxes made a promising start to the season, with the team outplaying both West Ham and Burnley in the opening games of the English Premier League, and they are now ready for their EFL Cup debut.
The Foxes did well to come from behind to beat West Ham in their last game and despite the fact that experienced attacker Jamie Vardy was not on target in the 4-2 win we do believe he is one player to look out for. Nigerian star Kelechi Iheanacho could be making his first appearance for the Foxes in the 2020/21 season tonight. The likes of Benkovic, Evans, and Pereira are likely to miss the game with injury for the hosts.
The Gunners, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Fulham and West Ham United. Greek defender Sokratis is rated doubtful for the Leicester game, while Mustafi, Martinelli, Smith Rowe, and Chambers remain in the recovery room. Anyhow, given the attacking potential of the two sides, we believe it is going to be an exciting game. A man to watch in the away team will be summer signing Willian, who has already started paying off.
