Even with the spread of the coronavirus transfers gist is still in the mind of both players and fans, club fans are all eager to know who remain and who stays in their various clubs. Today we will be looking at players in the transfer gist that are looking to pen down new contracts and those that are leaving their present club to another. Fifa recently advised that clubs should extend their contract with players especially those that their contract is due by this month.
Players in the Transfer Gist
Jordan Sancho
England and Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho has been the Tranfer gist for sone time now, the 20-year-old is linked a move to Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona are also interested in him. The player is however not interested in joining Chelsea, the former Manchester City player had said even if he will be coming to the English Premier League it won’t be Chelsea.
Tanguy Ndombele
Frence and Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is wanted at Barcelona, the Spanish giant are the favourites to sign him if Tottenham will release the 23 years-old player.
James Rodrigues and Dries Mertens
Colombian star player is also in the transfer gist as he is wanted at Everton, James former manager Ancellotti wants to reconnect with the Real Madrid’s Colombian forward. Everton is no the only club interested in the player, Manchester United and Juventus are also interested in the 28-year-old. Chelsea will make a second bid for Napoli and Belgium playmaker Dries Mertens. The Blues made an offer for the 32-year-old in January and were turned down, but Mertens has yet to sign a new deal with his Italian club.
Lautaro Martinez
Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, 22, is likely to join fellow Argentine Lionel Messi at Barcelona, says his agent. Manchester City had previously been favourites to sign the 22-year-old. However, Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti believes Martinez will remain with the club. Meanwhile, Inter Milan and Uruguay defender Diego Godin is likely to move to the Premier League in the summer. Manchester United and Tottenham are interested in the 34-year-old.
West Ham and England midfielder Declan Rice says he would love to play alongside Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount again. The duo, both 21, were involved in Chelsea’s academy set-up. Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez says he is “open” to a move away from Emirates Stadium. The 27-year-old Argentine suggested that he and Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero could return to their boyhood club Independiente.
