Colombian star player Juan Cuadrado scored an incredible goal as Juventus cruised past strugglers Genoa to go fifth in Serie A table. The former Chelsea winger scored directly from a corner in the eighth minute, with the ball flying off the crossbar.

Argentine international Paulo Dybala then doubled Juventus’ lead later in the 82nd minute of the game; he slid the past ball keeper Salvatore Sirigu as the hosts dominated proceedings in Turin. Genoa offered little in response, as they failed to have a shot on target throughout the 90 minutes of the game.
The defeat leaves them in the relegation zone 18th, two points off safety. They have also not found the back of the net in their last four games in the Italian Serie A. Since the arrival of their new manager Andriy Shevchenko they have not had a good game.
Matthijs de Ligt and Alvaro Morata also went close to either side of half-time for Juventus but could not find the back of the net with all the efforts. Juve now advanced to the fifth-place position and is seven points behind Atalanta in fourth, thanks to Juan Cuadrado’s super goal. The victory meant Massimiliano Allegri’s team have now won five of their past six matches in all competitions.
