England winger Jadon Sancho has had a medical with Manchester United as his £73m move to the English Premier League side from Borussia Dortmund edges closer. The Old Trafford club agreed on the fee for the 21-year-old on the 1st of July, but the deal could not be concluded until after Euro 2020.
Jadon Sancho to be Announced as United Player this Week
Jadon Sancho was driven into United’s Carrington training complex on Tuesday and was later pictured leaving. Manchester United is expected to announce the player’s arrival later this week formally. Sancho had a penalty saved along with Bukayo Saka as England lost Italy in a penalty shootout at the Euro 2020 final.
Marcus Rashford and Saka also missed theirs, making many English fans racially abuse them on various social media. Sancho was a team-mate of Phil Foden at the Manchester City youth team he is now back in the English Premier League.
