Former Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere has penned down a new contract with a Championship side. The former Arsenal and West Ham man has rejoined Bournemouth on a short-term contract until the end of the season. Bournemouth confirmed the signing of the player on their official website recently.
Jack Wilshere Completes Bournemouth Move
The statement reads: “Jack Wilshere has rejoined Bournemouth on a deal until the end of the season.” It also reads: “Former Arsenal and West Ham midfielder Wilshere has been training with the first-team squad to maintain fitness after he left the Hammers in October.”
“The England midfielder, 29, previously made 27 appearances for the Cherries during a season-long loan from Arsenal in the 2016-17 Premier League campaign.”“Wilshere is eligible to be part of the Bournemouth squad for Tuesday’s Championship game at Derby County.”
Following the transfer, Jack Wilshere said: “From the minute I walked through the door three weeks ago, it felt natural and like I had never been away.”He also said: “I know a lot of the players and staff here and I’m pleased they allowed me to train initially, and then it just went from, there.”
