32-year-old Grosicki was on target for Poland yesterday as they crushed Finland 6-1, the West Brom Albion player scored a remarkable 19-minutes hattrick yesterday. Grosicki joined West Brom Albion from Hull in January and has yet to feature in the Premier League this season.
He now has four goals for the season though, all of them for his country, after scoring against Bosnia-Herzegovina in September.
Poland played without their star player and all-time top scorer and the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year Robert Lewandowski against Finland. But Krzysztof Piatek and Arkadiusz Milik were also on target for the hosts, while Finland scored a consolation through Ilmari Niskanen. Countries are now trying to play without their star players so that when the players retire they will still be fine.
