Super Eagles Striker Stephen Odey Signs For Amiens

French Ligue 2 club Amiens SC have completed the signing of Nigeria and KRC Genk forward Stephen Odey on a one-year loan deal. The French Ligue 1 side Amiens have the option to make the loan permanent. According to the Ligue 1 side, they wrote on their official website saying: “Amiens SC is proud to announce the arrival of Stephen Odey”

The 22-year-old Nigerian striker is on loan for one year with an option to buy from the @KRCGenkofficial. The statement from the Ligue 2 side also said: Welcome Stephen!” it was made known on their club’s official Twitter handle on Friday. The 22-year-old linked up with Genk from FC Zurich of Switzerland last summer.

Stephen Odey has so far scored 12 goals in his 45 league appearances in his two-year stay at FC Zurich. The young striker, however, failed to hit the back of the net in 11 league outings for Genk last season season. Odey is in line to make his debut for Amiens against Paris FC on Saturday.
