Former Super Eagles Star Peter Osaze Odemwingie set to be a Coach
Former Super Eagles star Peter Osaze Odemwingie hopes to become a football coach in future, the former Super Eagles star Odemwingie retired from active football in April 2019 and has already obtained a golf coaching badge. The 38-year-old is, however, considering a place in the dugout in the near future.
According to the former Super Eagles star, he said: “In about three to four years, I would like to become a football coach,” he made this known via his Instagram handle in a live session. He also said: “At the moment the plan is to spend as much time as possible with my kids. I travelled a lot during my career and didn’t get to spend as much time with them as I would have wanted, but now I’m enjoying being a dad”.
“Now I’m into golf because that gives me the knowledge about other sports and the knowledge I need about football coaching but for now, I’m focusing on golf because I have a genuine passion for it.” Peter Osaze Odemwingie played in the Frenched Ligue One, English Premier League, Russia and a couple of other clubs across Europe before he retired. Peter Osaze Odemwingie during his playing time, scored 10 goals in 63 appearances for Nigeria.
