Fabian Schar Suffer Injury, Ruled Out for Months

Following Newcastle United 3-2 win over Southampton in the English Premier League matchday 23, defender Fabian Schar who suffered a knee injury in the game has been declared out for some months.

According to results, the defender will be “out for a few months.” Schar suffered a knee injury in the 3-2 win over Southampton. The game was played on Saturday, and it was a needed win for Newcastle United.

Fabian Schar To Return Before Euros Starts

Schar was taken off on a stretcher in the second half of the game, and they had already finished their substitution for the day, they had to play with without the defender and had a red card given to one of their player in the game. Newcastle United had to finish the game with nine players instead of eleven.

The 29-years-old Switzerland centre-back posted on his social media saying the injury was “difficult to accept”. He also said he hopes to fit before the Euros starts.
