France, Germany and Portugal all drew in Group F in the just drawn Euro 2020 tournament. It will be battle of kings of football in Group F, as both Ronaldo, Mbape and Serge Gnabry all in one group. The tournament will be kick starting on the 12th of June 2020 with fans already planning for the tournament.
The tournament is scheduled to be held in 12 cities in 12 European countries from 12 June to 12 July 2020. Portugal are the defending champions, they won the 2016 edition. For the first time, the video assistant referee (VAR) will be used in this year’s UEFA European Championship.
GERMANY, FRANCE AND PORTUGAL DRAWN TOGETHER
A true group of death is what makes a tournament an entertaining and a promising one. Group f has Germany France and Portugal, it is said to be the greatest features of all time. There is plenty to break down as the draw for the finals of Euro 2020 was conducted in Bucharest, Romania, on Saturday.
Often the Group of Death is a construct, something perceived because there is a sense that there has to be one, but this time it clearly exists. Thanks to an indifferent qualifying campaigns France, the world champion, was seeded in Pot 2 and Portugal, the European champion and Uefa Nations League winner, in Pot 3.
The fourth team in the group will be the winner of the play-off featuring teams in Path A, unless Romania comes through ahead of Hungary, another of the hosts, Bulgaria, and Iceland in which case it will be the winner of Path D Georgia, North Macedonia, Kosovo and Belarus.
