Borussia Dortmund has ruled out selling of their hit man Erling Braut Haaland this summer amid interest from English Premier League top sides like Chelsea and Manchester City Reports has it that Chelsea have not lodged an official bid for the 21-years-old striker but they have shown interest.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is keen on Haaland, the player is among the few strikers in Europe who has eyes for goals. He has scored 20 goals in 16 Champions League games for RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund which makes him one of Europe’s most sought-after players.
Chelsea and Man City Bid for Erling Braut Haaland Turned Down
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has also been monitoring the player but have not lunched any offer for the player yet. He is looking to sign a striker this summer following the exit of the club’s record scorer Sergio Aguero, who joined Barcelona on a free transfer.
City has also been heavily linked with England skipper Harry Kane, whose Tottenham future is open to doubt. The club has already played down speculation linking them with Barcelona’s Antoine Griezmann and Bayern Munich frontman Robert Lewandowski. But Dortmund is determined to reject any offers for Erling Braut Haaland.
The departure of Sancho has made them take this decision as they will suffer if they let two of their best players leave at the same time. GErling Braut Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola is also on the opinion that he wants his player to stay at Dortmund for now.
