Ten People Tests Positive for Coronavirus
Ten people have tested positive for coronavirus in the latest round of testing conducted by the English Premier League. The result is the highest number of positive tests since the season began so far. A total of 1,595 players and club staff were tested for the coronavirus between 21 and 27 September.
A total of ten people have been identified to have the virus but their names were not disclosed but they are, however, currently been asked to self-isolate for at least 10 days. The Premier League carried out weekly testing of staff at all 20 clubs, last week West Ham manager and two of his players tested positive for the coronavirus and were not in their matchday 3 game in the English Premier League.
The 2020-21 season started on 12 September after the coronavirus pandemic caused a delay to the completion of the previous campaign. Because of the results which they are still getting t has prevented fans from coming into the stadium.
