Mourinho Wants British Nigerian Eberechi Eze at Spurs
According to a report from the from Europe, Jose Mourinho is ‘thought to be an admirer’ of Eberechi Eze and he is doing everything possible to land the QPR star to Spurs this summer. Eberechi Eze has been constantly linked with a move to the North London side over the past one year now and Tottenham Hotspur has been said to be keen on the QPR man under Mauricio Pochettino. However, his sacking was thought to have ended Spurs’ pursuit for the QPR youngster in January.
However, the report revealed that Tottenham Hotspur manager Mourinho is also a fan of QPR star and is willing to continue previous interest from predecessor Pochettino. It is not just Tottenham that is interested in the player as several other clubs are interested in signing Eberechi Eze, including Newcastle United and West Ham.
Recently a report came from Tottenham Hotspur that they have scouted Eberechi Eze and have good links with both Queen’s Park Rangers and the player’s agent as well. Spurs’ relationship with QPR could also help to push the deal over the line after loaning them both Luke Amos and Jack Clarke this campaign.
Due to his impressive 2019/20 campaign, QPR has valued Eberechi Eze at around £20 million, as reported by The Sun. The 21-year-old has been influential for QPR this season after netting 12 goals and eight assists. He is still been asked to decide on the country he wants to play his country football as both Nigeria and England are looking for his positive response.
