Juventus new signings Dusan Vlahovic and Denis Zakaria were on the score-sheet as Juventus beat Hellas Verona to advance to the Champions League spot in the Serie A table. The two debutants proved their worth as they both scored on their debut.
Dusan Vlahovic Scores on his Debut in Juve
Serbia star player Vlahovic joined Juventus to follow Fiorentina turning down a move to the English Premier League as Arsenal were keen on signing him. He lobbed in the opener early in the first half before deadline-day signing Zakaria made it 2-0 after the break with a powerful drive.
The win moves Juventus to within eight points of leaders Inter Milan and in the fourth place in the league table one point above Atalanta who have one game outstanding. Vlahovic’s goal was his 18th goal of the season, putting him level with Lazio’s Ciro Immobile as the league’s joint-top scorer.
