Former Real Madrid and Manchester United Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo marked his 600th league appearance with his 20th Serie A goal. He scored in their 3-0 win over Spezia, and he netted the last goal of the day as the game ended 3-0.
Cristiano Ronaldo Makes another Big Mark
It was his 20th goal in Juventus jersey, and the game started very slow as they went into the first half break on a goalless draw. Things changed in the second half of the game as former Chelsea, and Real Madrid striker Alvero Morata opened the scoring in the 62 minutes of the game.
Chiesa doubled the lead in the 71 minutes of the game before Cristiano Ronaldo rounded up the scoring in the 89th minutes of the game. They are now three points behind second-placed AC Milan in the Italian Serie A.
Ronaldo’s goal means he has become the first player in history to score at least 20 goals in each of the past 12 seasons in Europe’s top five leagues. He did it in the English Premier League, Spanish La Liga and the Italian Serie A.
The Portuguese international has been breaking records from the start of the season to date, and he looks still set to break more records.
