Chris Wood Joins Newcastle United

Newcastle United have completed the signing of New Zealand striker Chris Wood from Burnley. The 30-year-old, who joins for an undisclosed fee, has agreed on a contract until the end of the 2023-24 season. Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe targeted attacking reinforcements after Callum Wilson was injured and ruled out for eight weeks with a calf injury.
