Chelsea Star Ike Ugbo Joins Cercle Brugge
England-born Nigerian forward Ike Ugbo has joined Belgian topflight club Cercle Brugge on loan from Chelsea. Cercle Brugge made the announcement on their official website. 21-year-old Ike Ugbo began his football career with Chelsea at the tender of 10, he was in the under-10 level turning professional in 2015 but is yet to make an appearance for the Blues.

Cercle Brugge is the fourth club Ugbo will join on loan after making appearances at Scunthorpe, Barnsley, MK Dons and Roda JC. And his time at Roda JC in the Dutch second division saw Ugbo make 29 appearances scored 13 goals and 3 assists.
According to Cercle Brugge chairman Vincent Goemaere speaking on the player’s signing, he said: “With the arrival of Ike Ugbo we are strengthening our line of attack in a targeted manner.” “Ugbo is a sturdy, strong striker who easily found his way to goal last season when he was loaned out to Roda JC.”
