Chelsea has equaled Arsenal’s FA Cup record after their 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, in Sunday’s semi-final inside the Wembley stadium. Second-half goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount earned a dominant Chelsea win.
Chelsea Equals Arsenal’s FA Cup Record
The win means that they are the first team to reach the men’s FA Cup final in three consecutive seasons since Arsenal between 2000-01 and 2002-03.
In their two final appearances in 220 and 2021, Chelsea lost to Arsenal and Leicester City respectively. The Blues will hope to make it third time lucky when they face Liverpool in the final next month. Liverpool books their place in the final after beating Manchester City 3-2 on Saturday with Sadio Mane scoring twice in the clash.
They will look to avenge their Carabao Cup defeat to the Reds earlier in the season. They lost on penalties to Liverpool early this season in a penalty shot out after playing a draw in the playing time.
