Bruno Scores Two as Manchester United Rolled Over Turkish Giants
Manchester United produced excellent revenge when they hosted Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir. Manchester United thrashed them 4-1 in the return leg of the Champions League matchday four fixture. United was beaten in Turkey 2-1 by the Turkish giant but they did well not to waste any time as they dominated the whole game.
Manchester United took the lead in the first seven minute of the game through a screener from Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes. He was in a perfect place to launch an unstoppable shot from the edge of the 18-yard box after the Turkish side tried averting danger from a corner kick.

The midfielder soon made it two after taping into the net from close range from Mert Gunok’s mistake. He took advantage of the loose ball after Edinson Cavani had tried confusing the goalkeeper by making attempt to head home a cross from the left flank.
Fernandes carefully put the ball into the back of the net as the home team increased their tally before the half-hour mark. He had the chance to grab a first half-half hat-trick but he allowed Marcus Rashford to take the penalty. United went in the half-time break three goals up. The second half resumed with the visitors looking hungry, their push finally provided a goal.
But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men continued their attacking display as two second-half players partnered to rounded the scoring. Mason Greenwood set Daniel James to score his first Champions League goal in the 2020/21 season. The game ended 4-1 in favour of Manchester United which means United are still topping their group with PSG in the second place position.
