German top side Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the signing of Donyell Malen from Eredivisie side PSV. The 22-year-old Dutch international arrives at the club following the departure of Jadon Sancho to Manchester United.
Malen, who is a pacy and prolific forward, penned down a five years deal with the club. It is believed that Dortmund has signed the player for a £26m transfer from Eredivisie side PSV.

The Dutchman passed his medical at Dortmund’s pre-season training camp in Switzerland before posing in BVB gear and is ready to join up with Erling Haaland and Co ahead of the 2021-22 campaign. According to Malen, speaking on his signing said: ‘Borussia Dortmund is a top European club that is always at the top of the Bundesliga and also has high demands on itself in the Champions League.’

He also said: ‘I can hardly wait to be on the pitch with my new teammates, to be able to measure myself against the best. And of course, I’m looking forward to the fans and the stadium that all of Europe raves about.’
Borussia Dortmund chief Michael Zorc said: ‘Donyell is a player with great offensive potential, who exudes goal danger, brings his creativity to the table and has a high speed.’
Malen has 13 Netherlands caps and was part of the Euro 2020 squad, starting two matches, including the surprise round of 16 defeats to the Czech Republic.
