Barcelona could shut-down their Nou Camp from fans for over 10 months, according to Catalan paper La Vanguardia. Barca could close their Nou Camp gates until February 2021 next year. This is due to the current challenge the world is facing now which is the coronavirus pandemic.
An internal report has it that the club has been faced with two possible scenarios outlined for the development of the financial crisis which is surrounding football presently. The worst-case scenario is that the fact that this current season is still in doubt to be completed.
Also transfer window is to open August 15th and then shuts on 15th of September when the 2020/21 season begins, but the global pandemic has put everything on hold. La Liga president Javier Tebas says this outcome would cost Spanish football €1bn (£882m), and the most drastic measure could see the Nou Camp remaining shut to the public until February of 2021.
Should the La Liga league be not completed with Barcelona topping now it will affect the economy of the club and it might cause the club the access to the Nou Camp.
