Barcelon Hopeful to Thrash Ferencvaros at Camp Nou
Barcelona will be hosting Ferencvaros at the Camp Nou at the start of the new Champions League season. The Catalan giants are a real force to be reckoned with at home and seeing that Lionel Messi did not leave the club in the summer despite all the troubles they encountered it will be nothing but a routine home win for the Spanish club.
First-choice goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen and full-back Jordi Alba are sidelined with injury, but Samuel Umtiti could recover in time to face Ferencvaros. The Hungarians did well to eliminate Molde in the Champions League playoffs, but they will have a much tougher side as they play against the world best player Lionel Messi.
As always a man to watch in the Champions League clash between the two sides will be Argentine and Barcelona skipper Lionel Messi. We are positive that Leo Messi and Co. are going to make a flying start to their Champions League campaign. In their last home game in the elite competition Barca defeated Napoli 3-1.
