Balotelli Signs New Deal
Former Inter Milan and AC Milan point man Mario Balotelli have finally been signed by an Italian club. The former Liverpool and Manchester City striker has signed a season-long contract with the Italian second-tier club side AC Monza.
It is said that it is on a free transfer and the deal will last till the end of the season. The 30-year-old striker has been without a club after parting ways with Serie B outfit Brescia Calcio in the summer. Mario Balotelli has now been offered a valuable chance to revive his career.
It is gathered that the club is co-owned by Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani. Berlusconi acquired ownership of AC Monza in 2018 and the player’s agent, Mino Raiola, apparently waved his normal fees to see the move come to fruition.
The club president made the announcement of the player’s signing who is set to undergo his medical at the club’s complex today Monday, December 7. After the medicals, he will formally pen down a contract that will see him remain in the club till the end of 2021.
