Following Manchester United 3-3 draw that resulted to Paul Pogba’s injury United English defender Axel Tuanzebe has suffered more racist abuse on social media.
Axel Tuanzebe in the Midst of Another Racial Abuse
Axel Tuanzebe came in as the last sub for Manchester United and spoilt the whole joy which already in the hearts of Manchester United fans. United was leading 3-2 with less than two minutes to the end of the game when he fouled a player that resulted in the free-kick that brought the equalizer.
The 23-year-old was abused on Twitter and Instagram, either directly or through the use of emojis after the game. This was not the first time the player is been abused. When United lost to Sheffield United he was abused to the point he had to delete his Twitter account.
Last month Manchester United condemned the racist abuse on Axel Tuanzebe received after their 2-1 defeat by Sheffield United. The club released a statement saying they were “disgusted” by the abuse on social media. They also called on the companies responsible to do something about it.
Several clubs, including Chelsea and West Brom players, have also suffered such racist abuse on social media. They all called on all social media platforms to take action against those responsible.
