Emir of Rano, Tafida Abubakar, one of the four newly constituted Emirates by Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has died at a hospital after the news of his illness was made public. The Emir who died today is also billed to be buried later this evening according to Islamic rites. A police officer yet to be identified has taken to his heels after causing a ghastly motor accident in Akure, the Ondo State capital while enforcing the dusk to dawn curfew imposed on the state by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
