Super Falcons and Barcelona Ladies forward Asisat Oshoala has been Voted the Best African Woman Player of the Decade. The duration which the forward was given the award is from 2011 -2020.
The 26-year-old Asisat Oshoala was crowned Africa’s best player of the last ten years. The award was organized by International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).

International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) is an organization that gives the history and records of the football association.
The body was founded on the 27th of March 1984 in Germany precisely in Leipzig by Alfredo Pöge. Helmut Käser was the general secretary of the FIFA at the time.
In the last ten years, the Nigeria star player has been the most outstanding African women’s player according to her records with both club and country.
The Super Falcons of Nigeria won three consecutive Africa Women’s Cup of Nations. She helped them win the trophy in 2014, 2016 and 2018. She gained her fame in the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Canada where she was voted the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
She played for Rivers Angers in 2014 and won the Nigerian Women’s League with them. Asisat Oshoala joined English women’s top side Arsenal and won the FA Cup with them in 2016.
She then joined Chinese women’s Super League side Dalian Quanjian in 2017 where she won the league title. Oshoala joined Spanish women’s top side Barcelona and won the Super Cup with them in 2020.
