Show-down at Wembley, FA Cup Semi-finals Clash
Arsenal and Manchester City will be battling each other in the English FA Cup semi-finals today, both clubs will be looking for a place in the FA Cup final as they both clash at the Wembley Stadium this evening. The Gunners aim to save the season by winning the FA Cup trophy, but they are seen as underdogs in the clash against the star-studded Citizens.
Mikel Arteta rested most of his first-team regulars in their 2-1 win over English Premier League 209/20 winners Liverpool, but he is likely to field the best possible side against Manchester City. Arsenal has won the FA Cup in England more than any other team in the English Premier League, will they be able to continue in their FA Cup dominance as they take on Manchester City at Wembley only time can tell.
Pep Guardiola mixed the squad in the Premier League win over Bournemouth as well, but he is likely to count on his star players for the FA Cup semi-finals showdown. Except for injured attacker Kun Aguero, of course, who remains in the recovery room. The Citizens failed to defend their EPL trophy, but they are surely capable of beating the Gunners at an empty Wembley Stadium.
