English Premier League side Arsenal is reportedly back on former Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata signing. According to reports, The London club is willing to battle Barcelona for the 29-year-old’s signature. Morata is currently on loan at Juventus for the second year in a row but, his time in Turin has been frustrating after only scoring five goals for the Old Lady in Serie A.
Arsenal Planning Alvaro Morata Bid
There are doubts about his future during the January transfer window after Juve signed Dusan Vlahovic to their ranks with Morata failing to feature as a striker in any of their last three league games. Rumours have it that Arsenal hoped to sign the Spaniard last month but failed in the end.

The Gunners let Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Folarin Balogun leave the club without signing a replacement and so leave them without any striker which is why they want to sign the former Chelsea man. It appears inevitable that they will strengthen this summer.
Barcelona is also interested and he could yet stay at Juventus beyond this season. Juve agreed to a £29 million option for the end of this campaign when they re-signed Morata back in 2020.
