English Premier League side Arsenal has recorded their worst start of the season since the club was formed. It is the first time they start the league without winning or scoring any goal three times in a role.
Manchester City Beat Arsenal 5-0 in EPL Matchday 3
The club’s miserable start to the new Premier League campaign continued as they were beaten by English Premier League champions Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium 5-0. The Gunners have lost all three of their opening league fixtures and are yet to score a top-flight goal this season.
Ilkay Gundogan, Ferran Torres, and Gabriel Jesus were all on target for City in the first half. Arsenal defender Granit Xhaka showed a straight red card for a challenge on Joao Cancelo. Rodri added a fine fourth from the edge of the box before Spaniard Torres nodded in his second of the game late on to ensure Pep Guardiola’s side scored five for a third successive home Premier League game.
The defeat leaves Arsenal in the bottom three, while Man City move top of the table on goal difference. It was like the Gunners were back to winning ways when they thrashed West Brom 6-0 within the week in the Carabao Cup, but it is like they are still the same old team.
