Arsenal Beat West Brom in Carabao Cup Opening Game
Since the start of the 2021/22 English Premier League, Mikel Arteta’s side has been without a win. They have lost two straight matches without scoring a goal this season. Arsenal started the game with Bukayo Saka, new signing Martin Ødegaard and Aubameyang.
Their quality would also shine through as they produced a devastating attacking display to hammer the Championship side. West Brom started positively, but the Gunners were the bigger threat as they had Ødegaard, Saka and Aubameyang in front.
They started scoring in the first 17 minutes of the game. Aubameyang opened the scoring before scoring his brace in the last minute of the first half, Pepe scored the third in the additional minute of the first half. The skipper scored the fourth before Saka scored the fifth in the 50th minute of the game before Lacazette rounded up the scoring with his first touch in the 69th minute of the game.
