Alex Telles of Manchester United Confirmed Positive for Coronavirus
Manchester United and Brazil left-back Alex Telles has tested positive for coronavirus. The former F.C Porto left-back joined elles, who joined Manchester United in the last transfer window. He signed a four-year contract with the English Premier League side.
Alles Telles did not feature in the 5-0 Champions League win over RB Leipzig last night Wednesday. The Old Trafford club Made the information about his positive through their Twitter handle. They released a tweet which said: “We wish him a speedy recovery and a swift return to the group.”
The 27-year-old defender will now self-isolate for a period of 10 days.
Telles Coming to Manchester United
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjær made Telles one of his new-season signings. Telles was signed for a fee of 15m euros (£13.6m), plus 2m euros in add-ons.
The Brazilian impressed on his debut for the club in the 2-1 win over Paris-St German in the Champions League. The player however did not featured Manchester United clash against Chelsea that ended 1-1.
