Manchester United are set to sign Brazil full-back Alex Telles after agreeing a deal with Porto.
Manchester United is currently in talks with Portuguese club FC Porto for their left-back Alex Telles and they are currently making progress as they are have already agreed a fee of 15m euros (£13.6m) plus 2m euros (£1.8m) in add-ons.
27-year-old Alex Telles will have his medical on Monday before signing a four-year contract with the option of a further year. Telles, who has won one cap for Brazil, has scored 21 goals in 127 games for Porto. Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to strengthen his options on the left side and feels Telles will be a useful addition.
Porto previously wanted £18m for a player who has one year left on his contract and could be signed without a fee on a pre-contract in January. The news comes as Manchester United close in a deal to sign Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani who is currently a free player after leaving Paris St-Germain.
