Lionel Messi Offered $1 million for Bisht Robe He Used to Lift the World Cup
A lawyer and member of parliament in Oman, Ahmed Al Barwani, has now presented the 35-year-old with an offer that he hopes will see the famous garment remain in the Middle East.
Al Barwani said in a Twitter post saying: “From the Sultanate of Oman I congratulate you for winning the World Cup Qatar 2022 the Arabic bisht, a symbol of chivalry and wisdom.” “I’m offering you $1 million in return for that bisht.”
Messi is currently spending the Christmas break with his family in Buenos Aires. The player is yet to say anything about the whole matter but it is most likely he will not admit to selling the bisht but on a second thought $1 million is a whole lot of money just that we can tell if that is a lot of money for someone like Lionel Messi.
