Former POAK and Maccabi Tel Aviv’s Vladimir Ivic Coach to be Named Watford new Coach
Watford Football Club of the English Premier League has admitted they are interested in using Vladimir Ivic as their replacement for sacked manager Nigel Pearson. Pearson was sacked with two games left to play in the English Premier League, the Hornets failed to survive the relegation as they are now in the English Championship alongside Bournemouth and Norwich City.
43-year-old Serb Vladimir Ivic who led Maccabi Tel Aviv of Isreal to two consecutive league titles and previously managed Greek club PAOK has now been linked with the job. Vladimir Ivic has no experience in the English Premier but the Club is willing to give the former Maccabi Tel Aviv manager, Watford management is on the opinion that there is a first time to everything.
He would become the club’s fourth permanent boss in less than 12 months as Javi Gracia and Quique Sanchez Flores were both sacked in the early weeks of last season, leading to Pearson’s arrival in December. Pearson will be remembered for ending Liverpool’s unbeaten run, especially by Arsenal fans, Watford surprisingly beat Liverpool 3-0 to end their English Premier League unbeaten run in the 2019/20 season.
