Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea Clash in Carabao Cup
After Playing out a 1-1 draw with Newcastle United Tottenham will face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the EFL Cup last 16. Spurs have big ambitions for the 2020/21 season as they did well to reinforce the squad in the summer transfer window, but they were more than unfortunate not to beat Newcastle in their last league match.
Summer signing Gareth Bale has yet to overcome his injury, and so he is yet to make debut for the club while the likes of Ndombele and Reguilon should be fit to face Chelsea. Son is likely to be in the bench following his injury in their 1-1 draw against Newcastle United in the English Premier League.
The Blues, on the other hand, came from three goals behind to share the spoils with WBA (3-3) in their last Premier League game. Frank Lampard has a number of high-profile players to choose from, and even though Ziyech and Pulisic are sidelined with injury, we predict that the visitors are going to find the net in the EFL Cup showdown. Taking everything into account, both teams to score betting option should be considered.
