Tottenham Hotspurs has failed to cement their top-four position as they were shocked at home by Brighton and Hove Albion.
Brighton and Hove Albion coming from defeating Arsenal away last weekend took the game to another London club as a 90th-minute goal sealed the win.
Tottenham on a run of five consecutive wins, started the game largely flat in the opening 20 minutes as the Brighton showed more attacking intent in the final third.
The ‘seagulls’ gave the London side all sort of problems in the first half as it ended goallessly.
Harry Kane has scored eight times in his last nine games against Brighton isolated upfront with only Son Heung-min finding pockets of space in which to operate.
The match-winning goal came late into the game as the Belgian, Trossard made a right-footed finish with the outside of his boot after a misplaced ball fell kindly to his feet.
This result leaves Tottenham in 4th position on the table with just 3 points ahead of Arsenal who have two games in hand.
